With MAX, for no apparent reason, you have to validate on the platform. The result: it's easy to get on the MAX and start riding before you realize (if you even do) that you are riding unvalidated. Then, if you haven't been confronted by an inspector, you have to jump off at the next stop and hope you can run to a validator, which are at the far ends of the long platforms, and reboard before the doors close. And don't expect much empathy from the sadistic drivers. My first thought was that if there's radio communication between the validators and some system computer somewhere, maybe the overhead power lines interfere. And yet, there are validators aboard, the streetcars. It's a mystery and maybe a really big oversight by TriMet's system designers.

The question is why it's set up this way?

Re: Dear City of Melbourne: Thank You

Wow, I can't believe I never saw this post before now! However, I like to pick favorites and ended up creating a small list of "favorite anime". If you see my ratings for the anime I've seen, anything good is basically a 10/10. My list is just a list, so I, too, don't have a set "favorite" If I'm asked on the spot. ^ ^

Re: To Every Single Zelda Reorchestrated Fan, Thank You.

And a huge thanks to you! Apple is hardly the only one to offer that and theres is even very competitive compared to what dell and hp offer. I believe they were mainly Sony, and Samsung, with maybe two HPs. I don't recall seeing any Dells. As far as support, according to the marketing materials (of which there were plenty), yes they would provide support. They also had their on take on AppleCare. As for the Best Buy and Amazon questions, they were quiet on that.

Stephen J.
